Why use real analog synths instead of software synths? They just sound different. There’s an aura about analog, even when sampled, and it’s a nice addition to your existing digital/software options.

We avoided using analog drum machines on this release, even though we included many drum sounds. We wanted this to be a synth-focused release, and we will be releasing a massive analog drum machine sample pack in the near future.

We’ve designed a lot of synthesizer patches outside of the computer over the years, and this collection represents the bulk of our imaginations and collection. These patches represent a wide spectrum of classic vintage to modern sounds, and combine nearly all the analog synths in our studios into some highly unique patches.

Each patch is essentially a mix of synths, mashed together to create something new, so it’s not ever just one synth you hear. The way they are blended outside of the recorder with effects, EQ and compression adds another level of uniqueness to these sounds.

The patches include reese bass, classic Moog funk bass, tight tech bass, classic synth keys, lush saw pads, evolving harmonic pads, arpeggios, deep chorded keys, intricate modulations, plucks, stabs, kicks, snap, hats, toms, effects, glitches, risers, swooshes, noises, textures, and just outright broken sounds.

Each of the 2587 synth samples are ready to play in a custom Ableton Simpler device with 6 macro controls and 9 preset variations to get started with.

We decided to go for quantity on this release with a total of 2587 different sounds. Each patch is a single sample played in Simpler, as opposed to multi-sampled in Sampler. Using 96kHz/24-bit WAV file sources helps make this approach sound great, so you get a LOT of different sounds that play and sound juicy. We think this is good trade-off.

Don’t use Ableton? Use the samples in any DAW, sampler, or granular mangler you want. This library of sounds is ready to use anywhere you like. 12GB of pure voltages.
