_the snapper brings an easy to use, realistic finger snaps instrument to Ableton Live with over 200 samples and 8 controls.

The problem:

  • Snaps are not always fun to record.

  • They’re a rarer type of percussion/drum sample to source.

  • They’re always an “extra” as part of a kit.

  • They're never there for you when you really need them.

  • Snapping hurts your precious fingers.

  • You can't even snap.

The solution? Read on.

The Snapper is meant to sound and play naturally. Each time a snap is triggered, a random snap sample at 1 of 10 velocities is triggered. You never hear the same snap back to back. Longer patterns sound more real when played, or as a MIDi clip, and the snapping is realistically expressive no matter what with baked-in humanization.

Tweak, the tone, feel, and sound for the snap sound you need, or use one of the 16 starter presets.  Automate the 8 included controls to dd even more expressions.

From skin textures, to full on hard snaps, this little snapper snaps!

Make it snappy.

Hit any note, key, or pad and the snapper will produce a snap!

Use 1 of the 16 presets, or create and save your own for easy recall.

Automate any of the 8 controls for extra control and expression!
