Ableton’s physical string modelling instrument, Tension was created in collaboration with Applied Acoustics Systems. We think it can be such a great base for unique sounds in Ableton, and not enough music makers are taking full advantage of it. Previously we released _strung out - featuring 64 entirely useful Tension presets. This time around we took 64 new presets to alternate dimensions with the addition of a battery of Ableton effects to mold and mutate things to new levels. Our custom Ableton 12 device allows for anything from supremely cinematic to otherworldly overtones and more.
With only 4 sound control macros, it’s also the easiest to use, but deliciously complicated sounding mood machine around.
