_filter skelter makes dynamic filters fun for the new Auto Filter in Ableton 12.2. Get back to the top of the slide with these 512 lawless presets.

We’ve been busy with Ableton 12.2’s latest iteration of Auto Filter, and by busy we mean 512 presets deep into this gorgeous beast of a filter.

Anybody can dial in a low-pass or high-pass filter, and maybe LFO it ,or even side-chain it. We had to go further with things. This is a curated and crafted chaos in the form of modulation and filter movements, which is now possible inside the new Ableton Auto Filter.

512 presets that just move, morph, squeal, warp,  ripple, and squelch, and all you need to do is load one and feed it some sound. Obviously, we wanted these to be useful across a lot of genres and production styles, so they’re not all complete aural anarchy. There’s a lot of textural and subtle presets that will add the right type of source to your sounds, plus classic modulations to stay tidy with. Fell free to use the side chain input to take these presets even further!

New filter modes, distortions, and extended sync + patterning capabilities, all bring a more modern aesthetic and interactivity with all the dynamic filtering possibilities. To keep things chaotic, all preset names are 1960s inspired historically poignant events, and annoyingly difficult to remember.

Got to get these into your life.

_retro grade is that lo-fi tape meets digital effect that everyone loves for Ableton Intro. 128 lo-fi to study by presets + 12 controls to make anyone a master of magnetics in no time.

Glue, saturate, warble, add noise, crush, and degrade your way back to the prehistoric ages with this Ableton Intro compatible effects rack. Go from slightly hazy vibes, to “that’s definitely lo-fi,” to utterly broken, with this all-in-one tape inspired multi-effect. We even added a “scrub” control that allows you to mess around with the tape speed directly and glitch it out for some pretty unique results.

Our aim was to make an easy to effect, that everyone seems to want, but make it work in Ableton Intro with stock devices. We hope it serves you well for all your over-the-top tape style effects.

_roar 256 consecrates the release of Ableton 12 with 256 presets for its new saturation device, Roar. Add subtle colour, fold harmonics, or maim that tune.

Roar is made up of three saturation stages for serial, parallel or mid/side and multiband madness. Feedback and modulation controls let you add dynamic, evolving saturation and colour or outright sound destruction.

Drums, bass, vocals, guitars, synths, group tracks, and mix buses will benefit from the beautiful damage that these presets can cause. An all-around buffet featuring anything from creamy colours, to spiced saturations, to inedible indelicacies - this pack of plenty has it all.

We’ve been hard at work making this huge pack of presets for the launch of Ableton 12, while getting to know the new features that help enhance them, like the new tagging and filter features. Preset tags are now included with our Ableton presets so you can find what you’re after faster!
