Subsocial Studios Contest: Analog Forever

Contest Dates

  • Contest Starts: March 1, 2026

(1) SIGN UP + DOWNLOAD the contest audio.

(2) Make a demo song at least 1 minute long using ONLY the audio or instruments provided.
 
Slice, chop, pitch, stretch, mangle, resample, and change these sounds in any way you like and add whatever effects you love, but no other sound sources can be used EXCEPT FOR VOCALS. Entries with other instrumental sounds not included for the contest will be disqualified.


(3) Post and share your creation publicly so that anyone, including us, can listen.
 
 
 
(4) SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY:

Submission Requirements

  1. Your name and email.

  2. A public link/post to listen to your entry.

  3. Length: At least 1 minute.

  4. Use ONLY the supplied audio samples.

Eligibility

  1. The contest is open to all individuals worldwide.

  2. Each contestant may submit 1 entry only.

  3. Entry links must be posted and submitted by the deadline.

Make us a great demo song that we can use for our _analog 2587 synthesizer pack.

We'll supply a 1GB sampling of over 500 WAV samples + Ableton Simpler and Drum Rack instruments from the pack.

Our favourite 10 demos will each win a Subsocial Forever membership valued at $129.00.

Judging

We will choose our favorite 10 based on:

  1. Creativity + Musicality

  2. Mix + Production Quality

Rights and Usage

By submitting your "demo song" for the _analog 2587 sample and instrument pack,  you agree to the following:​​

​

  • You keep ownership of your submitted music and production, but you give us a non-exclusive right to use it commercially in a reasonable and respectful manner.

​

  • You give us permission to repost, and use your name, likeness, and contest entry audio to promote the contest, and also you as the contestant/artist/producer. In other words, you enter the contest, and we might repost your entry and link to your social media accounts etc. We will do our best to help share and highlight as many of the artists, producers, and entries as we can.

​

  • You give us permission to use your contest entry audio in any future posts and promotional media for the _analog 2587 sample pack, and from time to time, our other sounds, and overall brand. In other words, your demo song that you submit may be used as a demo song for the sample pack, or to let other listen to what's being made with our sounds.
