_natural eight is as authentically close to our Roland TR-808 Rhythm Composer (serial #145390) as you can get. There's a lot of 808 samples out there, we know. What we're offering is something as O.G. 808 as possible with .wav samples. 
 
We sampled the direct out from the 808, and then directly into our converters. No colour, no fluff, no extra-extra. These are super clean. If you're a purist about this type of stuff, then these are for you.
 
We decided to sample a whole bunch of different tunings, tones, decays, and other things that make the real thing what it is. The 808 drum machine is essentially a drum synthesizer, so the more samples and variations you record, the more "real" it sounds. It's not just a single kick, snare, or tom sample that you pitch up and down.
