_rotary club brings the sumptuous sounds of spinning speakers to Ableton Live for all humankind, with easy to use controls and 64 effects presets.
The “Leslie” speaker effect was made famous by Hammond organs blasting through them, but this mechanically-based “doppler effect” in-a-box has also been used on countless different instruments and voices since its invention. It’s a tough effect to emulate exactly, and many have failed in doing so. We’re not saying that we’ve mastered an accurate model of a real rotating speaker, but we’ve made it a lot more fun and easy to get “that sound” in Ableton in the form of an Ableton effects rack.
Use the 16 macros to design your own dynamic doppler. Add some barely bluesy amp modelling, tweak your tubes, make it more vintage, and add some noise to any sound. Dial in some stage style reverb, a classic ensemble/chorus effect, and the amount + speed of spin you desire. With 16 macro controls that can be easily automated, and 64 macro sound effects presets, you’ll be the sultan of spin in less than a revolution.
Your brain is a wonderful organ.

_magic flute makes anyone a music production wunderkind with just 2 slide whistle wav samples that you can orchestrate with precision in 2 Ableton instruments and 64 sound presets.
Slide whistles aren’t exactly the instrument of a musical prodigy, but when we paired one with Ableton, we created a magical arrangement element tool. Risers and drops are something every digital songster needs when the same old transitions just aren’t hitting right. We wanted to create something a little different by using an instrument that’s physically designed to create slides up or down, and then use that as a quirky, but super effective starting point for sound design. After a few rounds of design wizardry, we ended up with our little magic flute device for Ableton.
Add rhythm, stereo movement, saturation, dynamic noise, granulation, and other spectral oddities to your own special potion, or use any one of the 64 preset sound spells and get conjuring your very own musical magic.

_head room brings watt’s been missing from amp + cabinet simulation in Ableton Live. A singular solution for classic tones featuring 64 presets + easy sound sculpting controls.
When we realized that Ableton partnered with Softube to create its stock guitar and bass amplifier simulator plug-in, we quickly added to our list of things to make. Bringing all the pieces of amplifier and speaker cabinet simulation in Ableton together with some custom effects that scream “classic” was our goal here. We wanted to be able to just load an Ableton device and have great sounding, easy to use controls, and automation for any classic electric guitar or bass sound, all while using only stock Ableton effects.
16 macro controls let you dial in everything you’d like to on your amp and effects, with a convenient speaker cabinet selector. The reverb and chorus effects were inspired by those often found built-in to classic amplifiers.
Don’t play guitar? Don’t worry, this Ableton device and presets make anything sound cooler, even you.
Hey, hey, you, you, get off of my cloud.
