_bass head brings easy bass amp + cabinet simulation to Ableton 12. A low frequency solution for classic tones featuring 32 presets + 6 simple sound sculpting controls.

Ableton partnered with Softube to create its stock bass amplifier simulator plug-in, so we’re excited to release a very Subsocial saturation simulator with it. We packaged the pieces of bass amplifier and speaker cabinet simulation in Ableton together with custom Live 12 effects like Roar. We wanted to be able to just load an Ableton device and have great sounding bass with easy to use controls and automation using only stock Ableton effects.

Don’t play electric bass? Don’t worry, synths and samplers work too!

Let there be bass.

• Minimum requirements: Ableton Suite 12+

• 1 handcrafted Ableton effects rack device with 6 macro controls. (ADG file)

• 32 macro sound presets.

• 100% Royalty-Free.

• Designed in Vancouver, Canada by Subsocial Studios.

Max Drekker is a visual artist and designer based in the UK, with a focus on contemporary graphic art, illustration and motion design. His work plays with perception by using optical and geometric forms combined with bold colour combinations for visual impact.

Having Max re-work our logo for some new stuff was a mind-bendingly maximal experience. We thought Max's bold and overtly optical style would drip very nicely onto some Subsocial swag! We hope you like the results - and fanny packs (aka bum bags aka waist bags aka belt bags aka crossbody bags).

_octo bbx brings brave new beatbox to your music production battle stations, featuring 117 live loops + 94 one-shot samples performed by OCTO.

Vancouver’s own OCTO nabbed 3rd place in Vancouver’s own 2023 Beatboxing Championship last year. OCTO’s journey so far has been nothing short of spectacular, but what else would you expect from someone who been living, breathing, and battling for the past 3 years non-stop? As fans of the art form, and OCTO’s award winning personality, we couldn’t pass up the chance to work with him on this sample pack. Thank you OCTO!

We captured OCTO’s style on some nifty tubed-based gear for extra punch and thickness, but everything else is all OCTO really. 16 different tempos were captured. OCTO’s style is mostly more modern sounds and patterns, and the overall vibe is “techy” with some “goes hard” sprinkled on top. We hope you enjoy this huge collection of loops and one-shots because there is so much great stuff in this one.

Talent without discipline is like an octopus on roller skates.

• 117 live beatbox loops performed by OCTO. (125MB)

• 94 beatbox one-shots performed by OCTO. (15MB)

• 16 different loop tempos from 75bpm to 150bpm.

• 96k/24bit .wav sources.

• 100% Royalty-Free.

• Designed in Vancouver, Canada by OCTO & Subsocial Studios.
